About

Fidelis has over nine (9) years work and leadership experience as an international development practitioner; deploying his skills as a human capital development professional; a program designer & management specialist, career coach and leadership development consultant within the nonprofit, enterprise and social sector. An advocate for inclusive workforce, he works at the intersection of business, non-profit and development where he designs and implement high impact programs targeted at building the leadership capacity of fast-rising organizations by accelerating the talents of young professionals and emerging non-profit leaders for career success. Fidelis has acquired expansive experience in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting inclusive human capital development programs funded by US government, UK government, Tony Elumelu Foundation and other donors focused on improving job access and economic empowerment of young people in Africa. Fidelis consults with mission-driven organizations to facilitate innovative, inclusive and results-oriented CSR programs, and builds on a vast experience and knowledge of best practices in program design to develop and deploy tailored approaches that ensure effective program's results. Developed enhanced ability to design impactful and relevant interventions that meet client objectives and beneficiary needs and incorporate stakeholder buy-in.He has worked with Individuals & organizations to "Make Impact, and Make Money," while providing them the growth mechanism to build Influence as nonprofits. Fidelis serves on the advisory board of many grass-root non-profits and has consulted for both local and international development organizations. His commitments has not gone unnoticed: his passion for corporate leadership in the development space made him receive many leadership awards, fellowships and service with world class organizations including the Obama Foundation, Aspen Institute, British Council, Tony Elumelu Foundation, U.S Department of State Atlas Corps, American Express, World Bank, Crans Montana, and the United Nations. Current Project: Building DignifyLabs - an accelerator and job placement platform for job seekers with disabilities for immediate hire in tech roles.

Reviewed applications and worked with the selection panel in shortlisting the finalists for 2019 UN Solutions Summit. The UN Solutions Summit is led by the United Nations Local2030 Hub for Sustainability Solutions, UN Foundation, shift7, and the Global Innovation Exchange.It is an annual catalytic process that culminates at UN Headquarters in New York during UN General Assembly high-level week at the end of September. This initiative lifts up and advances the work of exceptional teams with innovative solutions that advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and convenes resources and talent around them.During the UN Solutions Summit, a group of selected global innovators gave a ‘lightning talk’ outlining their breakthrough efforts to an audience of senior policymakers, investors, philanthropists, fellow entrepreneurs, and members of the public, including youth. UN Solutions Summit also involves in-person mentorship sessions between Acceleration Partners and the selected solution-makers.
